 When we redesigned the Notley High School website we wanted it to be more than just an online prospectus. We wanted it to be a tool for distributing information to the pupils and parents instantaneously.
The previous Notley site had touched on this, however all the updates and administration was done through us. The new site was designed with an admin back end, allowing some of the work to be delegated to non-technical staff.
We wanted the new site to highlight the fact that we are a technology college, as such it has a very modern, even futuristic feel to it. We decided to feature the head boy and head girl on the site header, this gets their faces known to the pupils & also personalizes the site.
